.......I have seen a lot of Bruin football and every California bowl game going back to the Now defunct Silicon Valley Bowl in 2003 with the same result each time. I do not get it....substitute coach same outcome. Toledo, Dorrell, Neuhiesal's team and now Mora 2xs have been out coached in bowl games or failed to get their teams to play with passion.

Tonight I thought we were going to run away with it and then the stupid penalties and then the Stanford gameplay...."slam it off the right or left tackle all night long then play action pass at will." I do not get it. OLine? Dumb penalties, poor pass protection until the very end and then anemic run blocking throughput. 2ndary? Let minimally talented receivers run free or riding these same receivers more killer penalties. Also hitting guys 3 steps out of bounds then being surprised when the laundry comes out. Mental mistakes all over the place.

On and on.....people are calling for coaches to be pink slipped? Perhaps...it does seem like we trot out the same gameplan we used against UNLV for every game this year. But hats off to a solid veteran coach who did everything our staff didn't working with less talent......Riley obviously used the ASU, Stanford and 2nd half SUC gameplan against us....with the addition of a QB that breaks pocket when in trouble.

All and all a very inconsistent and thus frustrating game. What did you all think, especially those who were in the stands?
