By my estimation, we lose 16 starters to graduation (or see below) and the 8 that remain (including ST) aren’t exactly stars.

I assume that Schlesinger and Sturdivant both leave for the pros or more money in college.

We basically need a brand new team outside of a couple of OL, WR, and ST guys. I think Harden may leave via the portal as well.

We don’t have 42 recruits arriving, even if we do well in the portal. How do we put together a competitive team without solid guys to build on?

I feel bad for Foster outside of his pay. I don’t know how he gets 25+ decent players in the portal to play. I can imagine a dozen seniors who are from the region and were underutilized elsewhere to commit, but does that help us build or just not sink immediately?

If we were really competitive, we could sign 2 OL, a sr QB, and 8 defensive starters to prove themselves as starters. I just don’t see any of that happening.
