UCLA has jumped in with an offer to four-star safety and top-10 2024 recruit Peyton Woodyard this evening. The top-ranked safety in the class plays at St. John Bosco and now has 30 offers overall as a sophomore. He is in the midst of a string of visits, but the UCLA offer is likely to be a big one for him. Notre Dame has gained the buzz in his recruitment, but he is still adding offers and taking visits leaving time for a team like the Bruins to make up some ground. He now holds offers from eight of the schools in the Pac-12 plus he has offers from Ohio State, Alabama, Oklahoma, LSU, Georgia, Michigan, Texas A&M as well. He could very end up being the top prospect from California in his class, so it's a big offer for the Bruins and one that the program had to make.
