With apologies for morphing Manfred Mann's lyrics into an ode for Owa's progress at the combine did anyone notice his 40 time? 4.62 seconds at 267 pounds...are you kidding me. Add the chiseled body (thank you Sal Alosi) and this Bruin is seeing his stock rise like a company that just issued an earning report double the estimate.
Only a couple years ago it was an upset if a UCLA player even got drafted. Now under Mora the question isn't whether Bruins are in the draft, but in what round. While some folks seem to panic with every report that isn't glowing, the true mark of a program on the rise is a combination of continued progress while becoming a national brand.
The annual improvement of Bruins in the NFL combine and on the field is just one of the building blocks used for a stout program foundation. Other blocks have already been laid like Anthony Barr, and more will follow.
