Jacob Busic, an edge rusher who spent the past four years at Navy, is someone UCLA is making a run at. He would’ve stayed at Navy but was denied a medical hardship waiver and his decision to transfer to a civilian school would give him two years of remaining eligibility.
He played just theee games last season because of a torn bicep. Best season was in 2022, when he made six sacks among his 35 tackles over nine games.
He did not play in 2020.
