After so many decades of playing home games @ the Coliseum & the Rose Bowl, why can't y'all build your own stadium on campus? The Rose Bowl is the most famous & traditional landmark in all of college athletics but you can't build sky boxes & luxury suites for your biggest donors there. Football stadia everywhere (already have or) are building huge fortresses where their press boxes were full of upscale sky boxes, club levels, ect.
Because you cannot build that @ the Rose Bowl, you need your own on campus (or nearby) stadium. These fortresses you can include are necessary to gain $ from big boosters, to accommodate them & to impress recruits. Either build your own stadium or you fall further behind in the football arms race. Sooner or later you just have no choice!
