The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation announced Monday a two-phase, multi-year $80 million renovation campaign.

The Lasting Legacy Campaign includes eight major improvement projects that would have part of the renovations done by the 2028 Summer Olympics and another part completed after.

The privately-raised funds would be cultivated by the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation.

Phase I of the renovations would include gas/water infrastructure, cellular service enhancement, sound system upgrades, a refurbished marquee Rose Bowl sign, a safe standing area on the east side of the stadium and a south end zone field club next to the UCLA team tunnel.

Phase II would involve improvements to bowl seating and a new state-of-the-art videoboard on the north end of the stadium.
