The Kansas Comet...he was just so smooth, so different from Jim Brown. Before there was Walter Payton there was Gale Sayers. Drafted in 1965 by the Chicago Bears he had such a short NFL career...by 1971 he retired from football. He retired with 4,965 yds rushing and 39 TDs but I remember every carry was electric. I'm a Rams fan but I was in awe watching Sayers taking the handoff from Bobby Douglas or Concannon
