THE GOOD
Rosen is probably already a better fit for this offense. His ability to get to his 2nd/3rd read is already better than Hundley was last year. His upside is crazy.

Olorunfunmi was a steal.

Brown looks a like a solid MLB and Young can be very good.

Fisher looks like he has upside to him.

Pass blocking has been excellent.

Bradley is a huge upgrade.

Dickerson and Ankou have played very well.

Kickoff coverage remains great.

THE BAD
4 of the 30 1st downs UCLA has given up are from Jack penalties. That's 13%. He doesn't make enough great plays for that to keep happening. Shades of Burfict. Tons of ability 2 cent head.

Personally I'd rather he played offense and played spot defense. He's a top 5 RB in the country. I don't think he's a top 5 LB. Top LBs are models of consistency. He isn't. He's probably the best cover LB around, but I'm not sure he impact the game enough with interceptions, caused fumbles, or tackles for loss to put up with the stupid plays. Might be interesting to sit him for a few series and see if that has an effect. Good/smart teams are going to goad him into even more penalties. He will be a 1st round pick on potential not on accomplishment.

Run blocking. Not much of a push even against weak fronts, scary to think what it'll be like against good physical teams. Also blocking on screens is abysmal. the next lineman to actually touch a defender on a screen block will be the first.

WR separation. They don't get any even against weak competition. Walker is their only deep threat and everybody knows that's the only route they run him on so they bail out. End of the day Payton is a #2 possession guys on most teams not a #1. There isn't a UCLA WR who would get a lot (if any) play at Oregon.

CBs. The concern is that they only look good in practice because UCLA has weak WRs. Rios really looked overmatched against UNLV. Don't think Adams is the answer either. He just holds every play.

Soso is So so. Probably would've benefitted from being a red shirt.

Mora's 4th down play calling is still confused and inconsistent.
