Jaegon LeDee is a 6'9" combo forward from Houston, Texas and plays for The Kinkaid School. Just so we're clear The Kinckaid School is the exact opposite of a basketball diploma mill, and LeDee has offers from such notable institutions as Cal, Vanderbilt, and Virginia.
LeDee is down to a final eight including UCLA. More importantly the Bruins are one of the four schools he's currently committed to for official visits (10/6/17). The other three are Cal, LSU, and Ohio State.
LeDee did include home town Houston on his list, but has eliminated Texas Tech, TCU, Texas A&M, and Texas (all of which he had offers from). Personally I'd be very surprised if he doesn't go away for college, and the basketball / academic combo at UCLA puts them in a very strong position.
LeDee is listed as a PF by some services, and a SF by others. Frankly I think he's the perfect stretch 4 in a running offense (a la T.J.), who can also be a creative 3 off the dribble. He's still very lean, and likely has some room to first grow taller before filling out.
I really like his game, and particularly like the fact that while he could become a very good college player he's got some physical development to go. Recruiting him to play with the pros at the men's gym for this development / comparison, could be huge.
Here is some video of him, and I think you'll like what you see:
