UCLA FOOTBALL MEDIA RELEASE: Spring Football Practice Begins March 31
UCLA Spring Football Schedule Announced
All practices open to the public - Spring Showcase scheduled for Apr. 25 at Rose Bowl
LOS ANGELES - UCLA Football released its spring practice schedule today, with the Bruins first taking the field on Tuesday, March 31 and practicing a total of 14 times before the Spring Showcase on Saturday, April 25, at the Rose Bowl. All practices will be held on the UCLA campus at Spaulding Field and are open to the public.
Spectators should be aware, however, that there is no seating available at Spaulding Field and all observation areas are standing room only.
This offseason, UCLA signed one of the nation's top recruiting classes and will return 18 starters from a 2014 squad that defeated three top-15 ranked opponents, including Kansas State in the Valero Alamo Bowl, and finished #10 in the country.
Posting a second consecutive school record-tying 10-win season while playing the nation's hardest schedule, the Bruins also saw fan support at record levels, leading the Pac-12 Conference in home attendance while establishing a new single-season record for attendance of UCLA Football games at the Rose Bowl.
This year, the Bruins will open the regular season at the Rose Bowl when they face Virginia on Saturday, Sept. 5. Season tickets for the 2015 season are on sale now at uclabruins.com/tickets.
