1) There's got to be pressure from his family and friends to stay close to home...I mean, think about how difficult it is to fly to Columbus from L.A. That sounds like too much of a hassle for his parents. I think he also has a girlfriend, so that's got to be a factor that plays in our favor.
2) The fact that he's known Coach Meat his entire life..I think relationships with coaches matter when it comes to recruiting
3) He could be THE GUY at UCLA..he can come in and start right away, make an impact as a kick/punt returner, even get some reps on offense. This guy could be a huge piece in getting our program turned around.
Maybe I'm just in denial...maybe he actually is going to Ohio St. If he wants to play for a team that's competing for national championships every year, I can't blame the kid. Just trying to be optimistic here.
