In the Oregon game while out of the game and on the bench Chimezie Metu clearly channeled Grayson Allen and tried to trip a Duck player.
Then at the end of the game he all but karate chopped the Duck PG Payton Pritchard into oblivion.

The officials didn't see the trip, but gave this classy Trojan a flagrant 1 for the needless and very aggressive slap. The Oregon program and fans are not happy and for good reason are wondering how this is going to play out.
This because you barely have to foul someone to get the clock at the end of a game, and Metu's windmill chop was a cheap shot. Then earlier in the season Dillon Brooks was ejected for kicking a Washington State player.
With the kick the referees ruled Brooks move was intentional and assessed a flagrant 2. It's impossible to understand how a full windup swing and hard strike wasn't intentional, but there's no way for the Trojans or Metu to say the trip wasn't done on purpose.
It also may or may not come into play that Malik Dime was indefinitely suspended by the Washington program for slapping two Colorado fans.
