According to a good source, USC is very much back in the picture with Wole Betiku, the four-star defensive end from Gardena (Calif.) Serra.
Betiku has had a lot more contact with the USC coaching staff recently and he's become a top priority. With his expressed interest, the Trojans feel like they can get way more involved here.
Of course, UCLA is still a very reasonable option and the Bruins are by no means slipping in his recruitment but there's no question in my mind after talking to some people about this that USC is making major moves up.
