and he is who he is, a 9-3 or 8-4 regular season coach and not more than that. He only recruits 3 months out of the year and some of he's assistants are avg at best. He also runs one of the more annoying Ds (Bend, but don't break), I really don't like his D philosophy.
I'm not saying Mora should be let go, but he really needs to figure out if he's all in on as a collage coach and leave that NFL mentality where it belongs (in the NFL). I said it going into this season that it was all about Xs and Os, because the jimmy and joes are there.
I'm not thawing in the towel just yet on this season, but it's not off to a good start. The thing I'm worried is that there is a good chance UCLA starts 1-3. So it's really looking like an 8-4 season
On the bright side I do see potential in the offense and Defense after game 1 (it's year 5 why we still talking about potential?). Hopefully by the time PAC 12 starts UCLA will be hitting on all cylinders (fingers crossed).
