Former Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight, who visited UCLA practice for the second time this month today, announced on his Instagram he'll start a "new chapter" at UCLA:
Speight played in 21 games for the Wolverines from 2015 to 2017, throwing for 3,192 yards, 22 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
It'll be interesting to see how Speight fits in Westwood, given he's just about the definition of a pocket passer. Though with K.J. Carta-Samuels spurning UCLA for Colorado State and Brandon Dawkins choosing Indiana rather than making a push to get into UCLA, Kelly didn't have very many options on the board when it came to nabbing a graduate transfer QB he clearly desired.
