UPDATE: Marcus Adams Jr. discusses top 5 schools

UCLA is showing interest in Narbonne forward Marcus Adams Jr.

Back in mid-December, I watched him go for 41 points and 18 rebounds in a game against King/Drew at Serra HS in a holiday tournament. In that game, he had all 18 of his team’s second-quarter points and led them to an 11-point win.

He’s got a nice shooting touch and has a confidence about himself that he makes sure nobody pushes him around.

UCLA pair drafted by USFL teams

TE Michael Ezeike was selected by the Memphis Showboats in the fifth round (35th overall), while WR Jake Bobo was taken in the eighth round (60th overall) by the New Orleans Breakers in the college draft for the spring football league.

They’re obviously both still hoping for a shot in the NFL, but this may give some insight into how they’re viewed as prospects. Should an NFL team ultimately draft them or they sign as an undrafted free agent, their USFL draft rights will be retained by their respective teams.
