Three-star safety Davis Andrews comes away highly impressed from his UCLA official visit

Davis Andrews is only taking four OVs before he makes a decision, and it started this weekend with UCLA (with Notre Dame, Utah and BYU to follow).

"I think UCLA is definitely at the top of my list. I'm only taking four officials so I kind of came in knowing that UCLA was high on my list, and this weekend kind of gave me a sense of 'Why not UCLA?'"

FB coaches at St. John Bosco

Here at St. John Bosco and saw both D’Anton Lynn and Jerry Neuheisel out recruiting after the program’s spring game.

Ran into 4-star CB Marcelles Williams, who talked to both before leaving the field, and said he feels more like a priority now with the newer, younger coaches on the staff since his official visit during the final week of UCLA spring camp.

Another player Lynn sought out was 3-star OLB Khmori House, who was told he would have his film looked at just before I pulled him aside for an interview.

UCLA continues to work at its own pace when it comes to high school recruiting, and within the last 24 hours the Bruins have offered a pair of four-star prospects despite those recruits having recently announced short lists. Mater Dei defensive lineman Aydin Breland was offered last night after narrowing his list to 10 schools — Oregon, Georgia, Ohio State, USC, Michigan, Miami, Tennessee, Nebraska, LSU and Texas A&M.
