Running back Zach Charbonnet became the first UCLA player taken off the board Friday in the 2023 NFL draft.

Davis Andrews, a three-star athlete in the 2024 class, visited and was offered a scholarship Monday.

He’s from American Fork HS in Utah, the same school that produced current UCLA RB Carsen Ryan.

Daryus Dixson, a Rivals100 prospect in the 2025 class, picked up an offer this morning from UCLA.

The four-star cornerback from Mater Dei HS has offers from all over the Pac-12, including others from Auburn, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas among the 20 schools.

Among the mass exodus at Colorado is offensive tackle Jake Wiley, who picked up an offer Wednesday in the portal from UCLA.

Wiley also has offers from Duke, Nevada, San Diego State and Washington State since entering the portal just hours ago.

Wiley, a 6-foot-6, 310-pound junior, started 22 games for the Buffaloes. He was a three-star recruit out of high school in 2019.

He’s a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining.

FYI for today: I have a HS baseball freelance assignment in Torrance in the afternoon, so a full write-up may not go up on the front page until the evening. I plan on getting my notes and observations and post-practice videos in this thread as usual before I leave campus.

Four-star running back Jordon Davison, who plays at Mater Dei, picked up an offer Monday from UCLA.

He’s ranked No. 8 nationally in his class overall, No. 1 at his position and the top player in California. Davison has offers from a number of big programs, including Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, USC and others among the more than three dozen.

Catching up on some recruiting from last night, UCLA offered 2024 three-star defensive end Keona Wilhite.

He plays at Salpointe Catholic HS in Tucson, Ariz. The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder holds offers from Arizona and Colorado, with Arizona State also in the picture.

According to The Athletic, Division I and II football games will now:

-Have a running clock after first downs, except for the last two minutes of each half.
- No consecutive timeouts by a team
- Foul at the end of first and third quarters will carry over (no untimed downs)

Great stuff as usual here from Tracy, including a lot of positive feedback for J. Michael Sturdivant. I personally agree he was one of the biggest transfer pickups in the conference this offseason -- guy is a stud and put up big numbers in even a bad Cal offense last year.
